I was born in North Wales, which enabled me to spend a lot of time walking the mountains of Snowdonia and the nearby coast. I trained as an architectural designer in Liverpool, and later completed my masters at The Centre For Alternative Technology in Mid Wales. I'm passionate about the protection of the environment, the environment and it's buildings.

My subject is the everyday, the abandoned dwelling or the old barn. I have a  fascination for vernacular architecture, especially that of the western seaboard with a particular love for the west coast of Scotland and my native Wales. In many of my pieces rural vernacular buildings appear nestling within the Celtic landscape, something which I feel are vital to record as many continue to disappear.

I have exhibited across the country both solo and with other artists and am currently working on a new project which includes the development of a travel book.
